The maximum number of admissions agreed with the Local Education Authority for Friarage Community Primary School is 45 per year group.
Friarage School provides nursery provision of 15 or 30 hours per week depending on eligibility. There are 52 places. Please apply to the School for admissions.
Children are usually admitted to reception class at the start of the autumn term of the school year during which they will be five years of age.

The following factors will be used to decide who gets a place at the school if it is oversubscribed (note that the list is not in priority order):
- whether the child lives within a particular predefined geographic area, i.e. the school's catchment area. Note that children living inside the catchment area have priority over siblings living outside this area.
- whether the child has a sibling attending the school.
